What Goes On Behind Closed Doors?

It’s been a busy period again – over the last 5 weeks, we have provided the following items – cot & bedding for a young single mum; 3 beds for children who have been taken in by a family member to prevent going into care; a birthday gift for a child under child protection; a washing machine for a parent who had been through domestic violence and their child was going to school dirty; a bed for a pregnant mum in temporary accommodation; a single bed for a parent who had been homeless; cot, bedding, bed and baby equipment for a parent who had been homeless; single bed for a parent who’s child was under children in need protection; a food shop and uniform for children under children in need; a cot for a baby in the refuge; baby equipment for a new mum in poverty; a cooker for a parent in poverty; a food shop for a family in poverty who had no food to feed their children; 2 single beds and a double bed for a family who had escaped domestic violence; a food shop for a family in poverty; fridge freezer and washing machine for a family who had escaped domestic violence; school shoes for a family in poverty; 2 x cots for the refuge; storage for a family in poverty; beds and bedding for a family who had been homesless; toy boxes and toys for children who had witnessed domestic violence; a cooker for a family in poverty with mental health issues; childrens clothes for a family in poverty; moses baskets, sheets and toys for a young couple who had been in care and trying to set up a new home for their baby; bunk beds and baby equipment for a family in poverty with mental health issues; beds and bedding for children who were due to go into care and were taken in by a family member; beds and bedding for children under social care; bedding and washing machine for a family who’s children are under children in need; school trousers for a family in poverty; bunk beds for a family in poverty; beds for a family leaving the refuge; a mobile phone for a family who had been through a very difficult situation and needed access to emergency services; clothing for a family in poverty; a washing machine for a family in poverty who had been through domestic violence, a fridge freezer for a family in poverty who had also been through domestic violence; and baby equipment for a mum who has escaped domestic violence.
