Thank you so much to everyone who has donated a toy or gift so far for our Christmas Appeal. Thanks to our lovely volunteers for helping us wrap and tag. We still have many lists to do; and more expected this week. You are all amazing and will make these children (and parents) have a Happy Christmas!!

Don’t forget we still have to put together 100+ Christmas Food Boxes – any donation of food items such as mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, chocolate log/swiss roll, crackers for cheese, pickle, boxes of sweets/chocolates, powdered milk, boxes of biscuits, gravy granules, melba toast, part baked bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, tinned ham, custard, savoury snacks, tinned vegetables, etc would be most welcome.

We have drop off points in Parkstone or Christchurch

These are all families in the Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch Areas.

We received another sad request yesterday (one of many this week), where a family of 5 (including a 10 month old baby) had been housed in a local Travel Lodge after being made homeless. We had to try and think of foods we could buy for them with just a kettle to make meals! Can you imagine living like that? We organised a food shop from Asda to help them cope a bit better, and we hope they are housed quickly, as it must be very difficult for them. We will continue to support them during the Christmas period.

We plan on providing over 700 brand new toys/gifts to underprivileged children this year, and 100+ Christmas Food Boxes. If anyone can donate a brand new toy/gift or food items such as mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, crackers for cheese, pickle, boxes of sweets/chocolates, boxes of biscuits, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, tinned ham, custard etc, please message us either on Facebook or email ashleysbirthdaybank@gmail.com. If anyone works for a Company, would you consider having a collection around the office for us?
