Ongoing Support from Spiritualist Church
Fantastic night as always at Charminster Spiritualist Church – thank you for inviting us to hold a raffle at tonight’s event. An added thank you to Andrew Byng for donating part of his fee to us. We really appreciate all your support. We raised £118.00, which will buy a food shop for a family, and pay for 4 essentials boxes for families in need
Our Support Really Does Make a Difference
We received this lovely message after one of our food shop deliveries was sent to a family in need – “The delivery is here. I can’t believe how much there is! Thank you so much, I cannot express my gratitude enough! Thank you. the food ideas are fab, I can even chuck together a roast. Honestly can’t remember the last time we had anything fresh, or even eggs!!
I’m over the moon for your help, my son will be so happy about the eggs and the chicken poppers!!
Ohh, and there’s fresh bread?!! How amazing!

Providing a Teddy for Every Child Suffering Domestic Violence or Neglect
We are VERY excited to launch “Ashley Bear” – this little bear will be given to children who have been through domestic violence or neglect. Someone to hug, and talk to when they are feeling sad. We have wanted to purchase and launch these for so long, and thanks to a grant from Talbot Village Trust, and our fundraising efforts last year, we can now make this possible. They will become our “mascot” and hopefully give the children some comfort.
Fantastic Donation from the Gannett Foundation
Thank you to Bournemouth Daily Echo (Gannett Foundation) for their grant of £3,900.00, which will enable us to continue providing weekly food shops and microwaves to families in need.

“So we had a lovely morning of donating a lovely amount of £220 to Ashley’s Birthday bank , we have been squirrelling away all year a percentage of our take and with our smasher Christmas raffle we are chuffed to help such a worthy charity. We shall be continuing to support Ashley’s Birthday Bank this year with some more raffles throughout the year.”
