Please join us at our Christmas Fayre
Our Christmas Fayre is on Saturday 12th November 2016 between 11am and 3pm at St Francis of Assisi Church Hall, Charminster, Bournemouth.
We have craft stalls, food stalls, gift stalls, tombola, adopt a friend, cake raffle, refreshments, raffle, write a letter to Santa, cakes, stocking filler toys etc etc.
Come and grab a bargain, and buy some Christmas Presents. Help support local underprivileged children in the Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch areas.

Help Local Families Have A Good Christmas
Imagine waking up on Christmas morning with no gift, no lovely smell of Christmas Dinner cooking and the happy atmosphere of excited children. This is the experience of many local families in Poole, Christchurch and Bournemouth. Christmas isn’t a time of joy for them, it is stressful and sad. How can we make a difference? …………..
We will shortly be launching our Christmas Gift Appeal for 2016 – Last year we donated, wrapped and tagged over 500 gifts for local underprivileged children, young carers and children who have witnessed domestic violence. We also handed out 75 Christmas food hampers for families. If anyone can organise a collection at their workplace of new gifts/Christmas based food items (mince pies, custard, chocs, biscuits, savory snacks, biscuits for cheese etc etc), please let us know. We are also planning on providing a gift for the mums and dads in the refuges this year (most of whom have been through difficult times or domestic violence).
We are all volunteers, so any help to make Christmas a happy time for all these families would be very much appreciated. If you want to make a monetary contribution for us to purchase items, please email us and we will give you our bank details. We have nearly 3000 likes on our FB page – imagine if everyone donated just a £1, how amazing would that be?!! If local Companies would consider donating to our appeal in place of sending Company Christmas Cards, we would be extremely grateful. Every gift and food hamper puts a huge smile on someone’s face.

Domestic Violence Month
We continue to help families who have been through domestic violence, and families who are struggling financially and emotionally. We will shortly be launching our Christmas Gift Appeal and hope to be able to help over 500 children, as we did for Christmas 2015.
If anyone know of any local free storage facilities we could use for our Christmas Gifts (and ongoing storage during the year) please get in touch with us. This could be a warehouse, storage unit, unused garage etc.
