We attended the Fun Day at Hurn Bridge Sports & Social Club on Sunday – we made £176.00 and also raised the profile of our charity, which is just as important.  Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, teddies etc, and to the people who turned up to support us!  We also had a visit from one of our Newest Recruits!

We will be attending Poole Carnival on Sunday 6th August – please come and see us at Branksome Rec – adopt a friend/tombola/lucky cards and more !  Sunday 6th August – 10am to 5pm – carnival along Ashley Road, then fete in Branksome Recreation Ground, off Alder Road, Parkstone

We had a great day at Fete on the Field in Ferndown yesterday and more importantly raised £230.00 to help local families. Thank you to our volunteers for running the stalls and to everyone who supported us on the day.

4com staff have started their training for the Isle of Wight Challenge on 15th July 2017 – Good luck to everyone taking part, and we hope your training goes well.

Fantastic day at Kinson Donkey Derby – the rain cleared up and the crowds got bigger and bigger. We sold out of adopt and friend and tombola and made nearly £250 which is amazing, and will help so many families.

We need to sell more raffle tickets – if anyone can take even a few books into work to sell, it will make a big difference – tickets are 50p each (£2.50 a book) and the prizes are amazing – a brand new 32″ tv, 5 passes for local days out in the Summer Holidays (a week’s worth in one prize!!), a free boiler check and carbon monoxide detector, family ticket to tank museum, bottles of gin and flavourings etc etc etc – all top 3 prizes alone are worth £340! And most of the other ones are £40+ each – so please support our raffle and help us raise more funds to keep helping local families. Thank you

Thank you to everyone involved in making our quiz night a huge success. Our trustees and volunteers especially Gina & Jez for making the chilli & curry, Lynn for making the lasagne, and Sarah for being our quiz “mistress”! Thank you to Nicola Cadby and Jenny Stanworth for making the most amazing cakes, and thank you to everyone who bought tickets. We raised a fantastic £735, which will enable us to continue supporting local underprivileged families.
