We are delighted to announce that 4com have chosen us as their Charity of the Year for 2017.

To say we are overwhelmed is an understatement – our Charity is going from strength to strength and we can now help support even more families going forward.

How will 4Com be raising the money?

This year, we’re heading over to the Isle of Wight on July 15th, attempting to complete a circuit of the island by running 13.2 miles, cycling 31 miles and walking 22 miles. We’re aiming to complete the entire challenge within 15 hours. Our team will have the choice of doing 1, 2 or all three challenges and as always, we’ll be keeping everyone up to date with our training as the big day events
What we’re looking for in our charity partner

The successful charity will show how the donated funds will be used in a project that will affect a wide number of people in our local area. We’re looking to be part of a legacy; in the same way that we have been with our three previous winners; a play area at Linwood School, a holiday home with Amelia’s Rainbow and a new indoor play space with Diverse Abilities.

Thank you again to the staff and students of Bournemouth Arts University for donating their spare change in our Charity Pots. Another £39.00 which will buy a microwave for a family in temporary accommodation. Thank you!!

When Lush found out that we also help families in crisis, they contacted us again to ask if they could help support these families by donating some of their hand made toiletries. We were delighted to receive a huge delivery of products today, which is enough to help 30 families!
