Pyjama Day Raising Funds

Thank you so much to Upton Infant School who are holding a Pyjama Party after half term to raise funds for our “Beddie Byes” scheme, which will raise vital funds to ensure no child continues to sleep on the floor. Good luck with the fundraising, and we love the very appropriate theme for your fundraiser! If anyone else would like to hold a sponsored event for us, please get in touch – ashleysbirthdaybank@gmail.com

“Every Little” Definitely Helps!

Thank you to everyone who popped a blue token in our collection point at Tesco – every token really does make a difference, because we are the lucky winners, and we will be receiving over £3,000 which will help us continue to provide food shops and microwaves for families in need. The microwaves are vital for families in temporary accommodation as they very often only have a kettle in their room, and we have to provide food which they are able to heat to feed their children.

Parents Struggling to Provide School Uniform

We had referrals for new school uniform for 24 children. Reasons for referrals were poverty, awaiting universal credits and families who had escaped domestic violence and left everything behind. We hope all the children feel smart in their uniforms, and have a good school year. Thank you to Nicola Cadby Mooney from Rustic & Retro Cakery who has raised £101.00 from raffles towards our uniform purchase. We really appreciate your kind gesture xx
