Four more “Ashley Bears” going to new homes. Sad that they are needed, but hope they help the young children. All going to separate children who have suffered neglect and domestic abuse, and are going into care. They will be taken to their new foster homes.
Childrens clothes and a small table and chairs – gone to a parent who has just been housed after being in temporary accommodation, and had very little for their children
Two weekly food shops gone to families – one for children under social care, and one for a family struggling financially due to benefit changes,
A brand new set of bunk beds and mattress going to children who have had to move into a family member’s home to be cared for.
Deliveries of buggy, cotbed and new clothes for a family; and new books and instruments going to a local playschool for all children to enjoy
Thank you so much to Glenigan – to Tony Wilson for organising the collection, all the staff for donating and to their Boss Vicci McEwen who matched the amount of eggs donated by her staff. These will be collected over the next few days and distributed to underprivileged children in Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch through Social Workers and Pastoral Care Workers.
A brand new small single bed and mattress going to a child who has been taken in by another family member to prevent them going into care.
