We are a very small charity, with three trustees and a little group of Volunteers. We all run the charity in our spare time, which ensures that 100% of donations made (and every item donated) goes directly to the families we support. We currently cover the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas.
In the past week alone, we have supported 7 families, most of them have been victims of domestic violence or human trafficking, and are trying to re-build their lives following safeguarding in the refuges. We have supplied them with children’s and adults clothing, toys, books, baby clothes, baby equipment, birthday presents, food, bedding, carpet and furniture. We are self funded, and rely purely on public donations of items, monetary donations from public and local companies, and our own fundraising (fetes, charity pots, quiz nights, raffle etc).
